Guard charred to death, cops on trail of brother-in-law

On Friday, a 35-year-old security guard named Gorelal was found charred in the lobby of an under-construction building at plot no. 256 in Sector 15 Part-1, Gurgaon. Originally from Chhattarpur, MP, Gorelal had an argument the previous night with his brother-in-law, Rakesh, a mason. Amidst drinks with others, Rakesh allegedly set Gorelal on fire using a cleaning chemical and fled. He later had associates check the scene, who then informed police. ACP Shiv Archana Sharma noted the incident stemmed from a petty issue, resulting in a case under IPC section 302.
