Amritpal Singh moves Punjab & Haryana HC, challenges his detention under NSA

Amritpal Singh, the head of Waris Punjab De and Khadoor Sahib Lok Sabha MP, has challenged his detention under the National Security Act (NSA) in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Singh, who has been lodged in a Dibrugarh, Assam prison since April 2023, argues that his preventive detention is unlawful and extreme.
