Samsung TV owners receive FREE new channel that’s perfect for kids over the summer holidays
KIDS looking for some free entertainment over the summer holidays will have access to a brand new TV channel this month.
The channel has already launched on some platforms but The Sun can reveal it is coming to Samsung smart TVs in a matter of days.
Pop Up has already started on LG and Plex but it’s about to roll out to Samsung too.
Samsung TV Plus is a free streaming TV service with extra channels beamed into your living room via the internet.
The exact date of Pop Up’s launch on Samsung TV Plus hasn’t been confirmed but owners Narrative Entertainment UK tell The Sun it’ll be sometime in July, which leaves little over a week left.
Pop Up is a sister channel to existing networks Pop and Tiny Pop.
It focuses on a different theme each week.
This week, it’s everything Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks with episodes from series three to series five.
Next week, it’ll change to Miraculous, series one to four, with Miraculous movie specials.
August will have Kung Fu Sock series one, Droners series one, Bakugan season two to three, and Total Dramarama each week respectively.
The company behind Pop Up also runs channels for grown-ups too.
Great! mystery is being billed as the “Home of the Whodunnit”.
The channel shows network premiering movies before they air on the existing GREAT! Movies channel.
It too is set to launch on Samsung TV Plus at some point but no time frame or date has been announced yet.
How to find Samsung TV Plus
You can find Samsung TV Plus along the app bar on the bottom of your screen.
Here you’ll see a Samsung TV Plus icon that will take you to a host of extra channels.
In the UK there are about 170 channels on the service to choose from – you can expect some big name channels such as Sky Mix, UKTV and Sony.

- Catfish: The TV Show
- Project Runway
- American Idol
- Hell’s Kitchen

They’ve been around for a while now but many were filled with pretty rubbish programmes.
