Nadda directs FSSAI to waive off registration fee of Rs 100/year for street food vendors

Union Health Minister Nadda directed FSSAI to waive Rs 100 registration fee for vendors with turnover up to Rs 12 lakh. Emphasized hygiene, trust, and street food hubs. Planned to train one lakh vendors via FoSTaC. PM-SVANidhi, SOP, portal launched. Highlighted traditional foods. Over 18 lakh food handlers trained since 2017.
