PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Officials are asking the public's help in identifying two men seen climbing an Oregon Department of Forestry camera tower just south of Sisters Sunday evening.

Just after 8 p.m., the cameras captured the two men climbing the 60-foot tower on Three Creeks Butte. According to ODFW, they would have had to climb over six feet of barbed wire fencing to even reach the tower.

An ODFW official told KOIN 6 News he rushed out to the tower to try to intercept the men and check for any damage, but they were already gone when he arrived.

"Fortunately, there was no property damage and they presumably were only interested in the view and the climb," he added.

Further, ODFW stated they will now be increasing security measures for the area and they have now filed a trespassing case with the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office.
