Farmers to get Rs 17,500/hectare for switching from paddy to other crops: Punjab Minister

Punjab's Gurmeet Singh Khudian announced a Rs 17,500 per hectare incentive to shift from paddy. Covering up to five hectares, funded 60:40 by Centre and Punjab with Rs 289.87 crore for 2024-25.
