Insiders Claim Why Heidi Klum & Tom Kaulitz’s Type of Partying ‘Rubs People the Wrong Way'

Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz are one of the most controversial couples in the media, with many not liking their 16 year age gap. However, they could care less, and continue to be ever-so-free-spirited, despite it actually rubbing many Hollywood stars the wrong way.

An insider alleged to Life and Style Magazine, “Heidi and Tom are straight-up, one of the most unusual couples in Hollywood and sometimes their free-spiritedness, and their willingness to be the center of attention in every room they walk into, rubs people the wrong way.”

They added that Klum has remained fearless throughout her career, but Kaulitz is more confident when he’s around his wife.

“To Heidi’s credit, she’s fearless about every social interaction she’s in, and she doesn’t care about your credits or your power in Hollywood,” they said. “[Kaulitz] is a little bit different in that he doesn’t really socialize with anybody without Heidi right at his side, making introductions and being his biggest cheerleader.”

Now, along with their free-spirited personalities, apparently, they’re having trouble finding a group of pals who will party like they do. The insider alleged that they like “late dinners, crazy cocktail hours and no boundaries when it comes to conversation topics,” which apparently has scared off many.

“Maybe they’re too cosmopolitan for the L.A. scene, which can be pretty conservative when you’re socializing with people who might turn out to be your next employer, but Heidi somehow makes it work for herself and even gets a bit of a pass for her sometimes over-the-top party animal attitude,” they said.

For those who don’t know, Klum and Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz started dating in Dec 2017, but didn’t make their relationship quite public until May 2018, after a few months of speculation.

Then, on Dec 2018, they got engaged, and two months later, they got married.

In a previous interview with SheKnows, Klum actually spoke with us about her marriage to Kaulitz, and even talked about their age gap.

“A lot of people were, you know, not giving us the positive vibes when we first started dating because I’m 16 years older than him. But I feel like, there too, if it feels right when you close your door at home and you know what you have together, I think that is the most important thing,” she said.

She added, “You have to cut out all the noise around you. Not everyone is always cheering you on in all things that you do. But I feel like you’ve got to do what makes you happy. And he made me happy. And we’re still happy and having a great time together.”
