Insiders Reveal the Reason Why Gerard Butler’s Alleged 29-Year-Old GF Penny Lane May ‘Kick Him to the Curb'

Ever since Gerard Butler started dating model Penny Lane, who is 25 years his junior, many wondered if this is just a fling or if it could go the distance.

Earlier this month, The Sun showed pics of them together, showing their alleged romance blooming. And now, a source said to Life and Style Magazine that the relationship probably won’t last long, because Lane will allegedly kick him to the curb.

“Gerard is one of the biggest commitment phobes on the planet,” the source said. “Gerard let [ex Morgan Brown] slip through his fingers because he couldn’t be what she needed and wanted.”

The insider added that even though he’s allegedly smitten, many don’t believe he’ll change his ways.

“If she’s thinking about having kids one day, Gerard’s probably not the guy for her,” they added. “Sure, the relationship is fun now. But it’s only a matter of time before Penny wants a serious relationship and kicks him to the curb.”

As far as we know, Lane and Butler have been dating for only a couple of months, instantly causing controversy with their 25-year age gap. But as many Butler fans know, this isn’t the first time he’s dated someone so much younger than him. In fact, it’s a pattern.

From 2014 to 2020, he dated Morgan Brown, who was 17 years his junior. Along with that, he dated Mãdãlina Ghenea (18 years his junior), Martina Rajic (20 years his junior), Goga Ashkenazi (11 years his junior), allegedly Lindsay Lohan (16 years his junior), and Rosario Dawson (10 years his junior).
