Medal and Open Week presentation

The Gent’s section held their 3rd presentation of prizes this year. Our Captain Mark McAleer and Lady Captain Ciara Marmion were on hand to present the prizes for all the open week competitions and the Gents Medal no. 5.

Today’s medal was won with a magnificent score of nett 57 by Michael Farrelly playing off 8 handicap. Michaels card included a 2 on the index 1 third hole where he holed out with a 7 iron.

Congratulations to Michael on a fabulous score which will have us checking the club records.

Captains Mark and Ciara presented the prizes to the winners from Open week who were present. It was great to see so many people in attendance and hopefully more will attend the next Medal prize giving.
