How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days remains one of the most iconic rom-coms to come from the early ’00s, and fans have been clamoring for another chance to see Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey reprise their characters ever since.

In a new interview, Kate, who played Andie Anderson in the 2003 blockbuster, revealed if she and Matthew would be interested in revisiting the story in a sequel.

While on Watch What Happens Live this week, Kate said that they would likely both be willing to do another movie.

“I think they [studios] are always thinking about that,” she said, via Variety.

There’s one big caveat though: the movie would need to be solid.

“All that matters would be the script and if Matthew and I were into the script,” she said. “I think we’re both totally open; it has just never happened.”

There has been talk of a sequel before, and Kate has even had an idea about where the couple would be all these years later.
