"China cannot just change history", says Tibet President in exile as US passes Resolve Tibet act

The US House recently passed the Tibet bill S-138, known as the Resolve Tibet Act, urging China to address the Tibet dispute and stop spreading disinformation. A bipartisan group of US lawmakers, led by Congressman Michael McCaul and Nancy Pelosi, visited Dharamshala to meet the Dalai Lama, raising Chinese objections. Tibetan President in exile, Penpa Tsering, emphasised challenging China's historical narrative and promoting Tibetan independence. The bill has heightened tensions between the US and China, with China denouncing it as interference.
