In Memoriam, Albert Ashworth, member 1958 to 2018.

We are planning, with our mother, Margaret, to scatter our father’s ashes, 6 years after his death.

A number of members have expressed a wish to join us, and everyone will be very welcome.

Saturday 27th July, meeting at the Nick of Pendle at 11 am, we intend to walk over Apronfull Hill to the cairn at 7812 4022 on Mearley Moor.

Sunday 28th, meeting at Widdop Reservoir (parking at grid ref 9254 3334 as the car park at the dam is closed) at 12, we shall walk south of the reservoir to the top of the boulders/crags.

Both were very special places to Dad.

A visit to the Wellsprings and the Packhorse is likely to be obligatory afterwards.
