Fake tweet about 'superhuman' Trump 'growing back' ear goes viral

A falsified post on X claiming Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was growing back his ear went viral over the weekend.

Although it wasn't clear who created the fake tweet, one post had been viewed 1.5 million times.

"It took my entire ear off. The whole ear," the alleged post from Trump said. "But I went to the doctor, and he said, and this is true, he said, you heal faster than anyone I've ever seen. Nobody is healthier than you."

"And the next day, my ear was growing back, and the doctor said, nobody regrows ears like that, and its a really remarkable thing, regrowing an ear like that, most people can't do it," the post continued. "And I know that, because its not me saying this, its the doctor, its everybody saying, just, you're the best at regrowing ears."

By Sunday, dozens of people claimed Trump followers believed the post.

"They're digging in deeper with The Big Ear Lie," one commenter noted. "When he takes off his maxi-pad ear diaper, they will praise God for erasing the nearly inch-long scar and making his ear grow back. 'Hallelujah, it's another miracle! He is truly the Chosen One!'"

"And somebody posted for trump saying his ear was blown off..but we saw pictures of it intact at the site..a d magically in one week it grew back...to do that he would be reptilian..people don't regrow lost appendages like ears," another person pointed out.

Others mocked the false claim.

"He’s super human. Grows back ear????" a post said.

"Oh yea it hurt and it bled like hell. Blew the whole ear off. But it stopped bleeding and began grow back almost instantly. By the time the Doctors saw it, it didn't even need stitches," a commenter joked. "It's changed my thinking about sharks and batteries in water. I'll take on the shark."

"Yes that's totally real. I personally was there and saw his ear grow back," another post said.

"But the amazing thing happening under that pad is his ear is growing back. God is great. Bahaha," Jerome Bennett wrote.
