Reddit user Screen-Cream challenged readers to “find the man in blue.”

At first glance, the visual in the post just looks like a very intimidating mountain.

But there is more than meets the eye.

Somewhere within it, a man is climbing to the very top.

If you can find him in less than 60 seconds, you may have the eyes of a hawk.

Set your timer now and see how long it takes you.

Here is a little hint that can help you find the man who is hiding in plain sight.

Zoom into the picture on the single stone on the top.

From there go down the mountain more or less vertically and a little to the left.

The mountain climber is actively climbing a stone and wearing blue.

If it took you longer than you thought it would, that’s alright.

The answer is circled below in red.

Reddit users were confused and perplexed by what they saw.

“He’s a lot smaller than I expected. That’s a lot of mountain,” one wrote.

“Man, that just looks like artifacts on my phone. I need to get my eyes checked,” a Redditor joked.

“I feel like that’s one of the main tricks for this sub,” another added.

“The things we’re looking for are smaller than one would expect and an unexpected color, or the color blends in better than one would expect.”

If that was too difficult, try an easier one next.

Benefits of brainteasers and optical illusions

Researchers have developed many tests to show how various brain regions react to brainteasers and optical illusions. There are many benefits.

  • They are not only entertaining, but they also shed light on how our brains interpret visual data.
  • By giving your brain a little workout regularly, you enhance your ability to focus and observe details.
  • Studies have shown people who regularly challenge themselves with optical illusions and puzzles see big improvements in their problem-solving skills, concentration, and attention.
  • Improved concentration and attention span can help prevent cognitive decline in old age.
  • Optical illusions can improve eyesight by allowing you to see small print.
