Osicka Leads NY Gremlins Past Midland Explorers, 5-0

Kuba Osi?ka struck out 13 batters as the starting pitcher led NY Gremlins past Midland Explorers 5-0 on Saturday. Kuba Osicka gave up zero hits and zero runs over seven innings while walking one.

NY Gremlins got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Ben Enoka walked, Erick Ochoa doubled, and Midland Explorers committed an error, each scoring one run.

NY Gremlins added one run in the second after NY Gremlins scored on a passed ball.

NY Gremlins added one run in the third after Tane Mumu hit a sacrifice fly.

K Santala took the loss for Midland Explorers. The starting pitcher went three innings, surrendering five runs (two earned) on three hits, striking out three and walking six.

Erick Ochoa, Gonzalo Masmu, and Cole Evans each collected one hit for NY Gremlins. Erick Ochoa and Tane Mumu each drove in one run for NY Gremlins. Nick Mullins paced NY Gremlins with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. NY Gremlins turned one double play in the game. NY Gremlins were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Bryan Abrey had the most chances in the field with 13.

Midland Explorers turned one double play in the game.

Powerful Pitching Performance From Besgrove Carries NY Gremlins Past AWP Lumberjacks

Jack Besgrove was dominant in the circle, as the starting pitcher rang up 12 strikeouts in NY Gremlins’s 8-0 victory over AWP Lumberjacks 18O on Saturday. Jack Besgrove gave up three hits and zero runs over five innings while walking none.

NY Gremlins scored five runs in the third inning on the way to victory.  Abelardo Penuelas doubled, scoring one run, Ben Enoka singled, scoring one run, Cole Evans tripled, scoring one run, Bryan Abrey singled, scoring one run, and Nick Mullins singled, scoring one run.

Ryan French took the loss for AWP Lumberjacks 18O. They went two and two-thirds innings, surrendering six runs on seven hits, striking out three and walking one.

NY Gremlins accumulated 13 hits in the game. Erick Ochoa drove the middle of the lineup, leading NY Gremlins with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 1-for-3 on the day. Cole Evans and Ben Enoka each collected three hits for NY Gremlins. Abelardo Penuelas collected two hits for NY Gremlins in three at bats. NY Gremlins were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Nick Mullins made the most plays with 12.

Jonathan Lynch, Daniel Alstat, and Federico Olheiser each collected one hit for AWP Lumberjacks 18O. AWP Lumberjacks 18O turned one double play in the game.
