‘It spoils all the fun’ fume shoppers after spotting Halloween section in The Range three months early

SHOPPERS have been left frustrated after seeing Halloween stock in The Range already – with many claiming that it “spoils the fun” for kids when it hits the shelves three months early.

Savvy mum Lorna Cooper, from Paisley, was left shocked after she spotted a selection full of new autumn products in preparation for the Spooky season.

And it led to an outcry from fellow shoppers who said it was “ridiculous” that they’re already in shops during the summer holidays.

Posting on Feed your family for about £20 a week, a public Facebook group with 678,000 followers, Lorna shared snaps of the packed shelves in The Range.

The photos showed a number of orange, green and white pumpkins in an assortment of sizes.

There was also a bright orange cushion with the words “Hey Pumpkin” on the front as well as white and black skull candles.

Pumpkin mugs, dark-coloured candles and orange glasses were up for grabs and kitchen containers with the words “Spooky Season” and “Pumpkin Season” were spotted on the shelves.

Other autumn-themed products included large squirrel doorstoppers, acorn statues and hedgehog garden decorations.

But not everyone was annoyed at the new items – with many claiming they couldn’t wait to get their hands on the spooky decor.
