Supermarkets where kids eat for less than £1.50

Martin Lewis' MoneySavingExpert has pieced together a list of how to snap up deals and offers for dine-in and takeaway.

There are several supermarkets among them, including Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons.

Furniture giant Ikea has also been named for its kids deal.

At Asda cafes, kids eat for only £1 – with no minimum spend by the adult required.

At the Tesco cafe, kids at free when the adult makes a purchase, although this is for Clubcard members only, the supermarket’s loyalty program.

Meanwhile Sainsbury’s shoppers can take kids to eat for £1 but parents have to buy a main meal at the cafe first.

Morrisons cafes offer a free bowl of cereal – every day until closing time.

Parents on a furniture shop at Ikea can also keep a handle on their hungry kids who can eat there for 95p or £1.50 with fruit and a soft drink added on.

It’s available at Ikea stores with a restaurant from 11am – but isn’t valid on Fridays.

Instead the Swedish store is offering 50 per cent off selected restaurant meals on Fridays for family members.

It’s valid until August 30 and includes the small cooked breakfast, meatball meals and fish and chips.
