'Right here, right now!' Trump claims Biden decision sealed MAGA's return to White House
Donald Trump’s presidential campaign sent out a rallying cry to his base after President Joe Biden's historic announcement Sunday — telling them that this could be the moment that returns Trump to the White House.
“If we’re going to win back the White House, it will be all because of the momentum we build at this very moment — right here, right now!” his supporters were told in a fundraising email sent less than two hours after Biden dropped out.
“Today we make history! Before this day is over, I’m calling on one million pro-Trump patriots to chip in and proudly say, “I stand with President Trump!”
The Trump campaign message began with the narrative that, “FIRST, Biden’s FBI raided my home! THEN, his corrupt allies HAD ME CONVICTED IN A RIGGED TRIAL!
“But RIGHT NOW, he just quit the race in COMPLETE DISGRACE!”
Biden announced Sunday afternoon that he would not be seeking re-election, and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to take his place.
It followed mounting pressure to quit from senior Democrats who have grown increasingly concerned since Biden’s poor debate performance last month.
But Trump said his supporters were responsible for booting Biden.
“The WASHINGTON ESTABLISHMENT, the Hate-America Media, and the corrupt DEEP STATE did everything they could to protect Biden, but YOUR SUPPORT just knocked him out of the race!” the email read.
