The Afghanistan Examination Authority has announced that Atal Khan Rahimzai, son of Mohammad Azim, achieved the highest score in the 1403 (2024) university entrance exam.
According to Radio Television Afghanistan, Atal Khan scored 359.61 points and has secured a place at Kabul Medical University.
The Taliban-controlled Examination Authority reported that Syed Hamid Hashimi from Balkh scored 357.71 points, making him the second-highest scorer, while Shafiullah Nazemi from Farah scored 357.25 points, coming in third. Ershad Ahmad from Laghman and Safiullah Mohajer from Herat scored 357.15 and 355.92 points, respectively, placing fourth and fifth.
The National Examination Authority’s announcement of the 2024 exam results notably excludes female students for the third consecutive year.
