Ascendas acquires Aurum’s 22-storey Navi Mumbai office tower for Rs 707 cr
CapitaLand India Trust has acquired the 22-storey Building Q2 from Aurum Ventures in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai, for Rs 707 crore, one of India's largest commercial tower deals. Acting as trustee-manager of its REIT, CapitaLand followed a May 2018 forward purchase agreement, with incremental payments due within 12 months. The LEED Platinum rated Building Q2 hosts clients like DP World, Mizuho Bank, Technip, ICICI Bank, and Axis Bank. Aurum Q Parc offers sports courts, lounges, and food courts, and plans for Aurum Square retail galleria. Earlier, Ascendas bought Building Q1 for Rs 353 crore in November 2021.
