Here's a list of many Democratic leaders who have endorsed Kamala Harris

Several Democratic lawmakers quickly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the 2024 Democratic nominee after President Joe Biden announced he would step aside.

Biden himself became the first high-profile Democrat to endorse his vice president.

"My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it's been the best decision I've made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it's time to come together and beat Trump," Biden said in a statement.

Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton endorsed Harris in a joint statement.

"Now is the time to support Kamala Harris and fight with everything we've got to elect her. America's future depends on it," the couple asserted.

Influential Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) said he planned to endorse Harris on Sunday.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) called Harris the "most qualified" to lead. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) also supported Harris.

"I know one thing, I will only work for @KamalaHarris!" Crockett wrote on X. "If it's anyone OTHER than her, enjoy campaign season."

In a statement, Sen. Mazie Hirono said she would do "everything in my power to get her elected."

Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) argued that Democrats who called on Biden to step down should "use that energy" to elect Harris.

Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MI) called on Democrats to unite around the vice president.
