Beast's Bloody Ending, Explained

The following contains major spoilers for Beast, now playing in theaters. In Universal Pictures'Beast, Idris Elba's Nate had a herculean task ahead of him in the South African wilderness. Nate was initially visiting with his daughters, Meredith and Norah, to get them closer to their deceased mom's roots after she died of cancer. However, on a trip to check out the wildlife and general area, they got attacked by a wild lion. It turns out the lion was on a personal mission of revenge, which proved to be quite a challenge for Nate's family and their guide, Martin.
