Woman dies from heatstroke

A 64-year-old woman died of heatstroke at Nicosia general hospital, it emerged on Monday.

Another three individuals aged 25, 67 and 80 are also being treated for heatstroke at the same hospital.

Soaring temperatures exceeding 42C have led to increasing cases of heat exhaustion, a state health services (Okypy) spokesman said.
