I’m 39 & swear by a wrinkle-reducing treatment that can stimulate as much collagen as your skin makes in an entire year

A 39-YEAR-OLD woman has revealed the skincare treatment she routinely has to boost collagen production.

She raved that just one session at a beauty salon can improve skin texture, and reduce fine lines and scars.

Chemical peeling, microneedling, and dermaplane are among the treatments Isabella Cavalli offers at SKINOLOGYST Aesthetics Clinic UK in Leeds, England.

Speaking to The U.S. Sun, she shared the beauty rituals that keep her looking younger than her age.

COLLAGEN BOOSTER

Cavalli said effective skincare ingredients and treatments can be a “game-changer” for women of all ages.

She said microneedling sounds “intense” because it involves using tiny needles to create micro-injuries in the skin but the results are “incredible.”

“One session of microneedling can stimulate the production of as much collagen as your skin produces in an entire year,” she said.

“Given that we start losing collagen in our mid-20s, microneedling can be a powerful way to maintain youthful, firm skin.

“It’s fantastic for improving texture, reducing fine lines, and even minimizing scars.”

Cavalli said microneedling can be paired with exosomes for a “powerhouse” treatment.

“Exosomes are tiny vesicles that deliver growth factors and other beneficial molecules directly to your skin cells, enhancing the regenerative process started by microneedling,” she said.

“This duo can really rejuvenate your skin, making it look fresher and more youthful.”

SMOOTHING STAPLES

Cavalli revealed two ingredients are go-to’s in her anti-aging skincare routine.

“Hyaluronic acid is a hydration hero,” she said.

“It can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water, which means it plumps up the skin, making it look dewy and smooth.

“It’s perfect for all skin types, especially if you’re dealing with dryness or fine lines.”

Don’t underestimate the benefits of a lymphatic drainage massage.

She said tretinoin, which is a form of vitamin A, is another “superstar” for defying the signs of aging.

“It’s been proven to boost cell turnover, which helps with everything from acne to fine lines to hyperpigmentation,” she said.

“It’s a bit stronger than over-the-counter retinoids, so it’s typically prescribed by a dermatologist, but it’s worth it for the results.”

GLOW UP

Cavalli said there are many benefits of having a lymphatic drainage massage.

“This gentle massage technique helps reduce puffiness by improving the flow of lymph fluid, which carries away toxins and waste from your tissues,” she said.

“It’s not only relaxing but also leaves your skin looking brighter and more sculpted.”

She raved the treatment can make a “noticeable difference” to the skin when used alongside her other beauty tips.

“Whether you’re just starting to see signs of aging or you’re looking to maintain your skin’s health, these options can help keep your skin looking its best,” she said.

Cavalli previously told The U.S. Sun she spends five minutes doing a lymphatic drainage massage each morning.

She does the skincare habit after double cleansing and washing her face with cold water.

She said any makeup product will look good if you focus on skin health first.
