Beloved BBC daytime show pulled off air for an entire month in major schedule shake-up

IN an unexpected turn of events, the BBC has taken Morning Live off air for a month.

This announcement comes just weeks after the show disappeared for three weeks during its regular summer hiatus.

BBC bosses took to social media to reveal that the show will be temporarily replaced.

The post read: “Here’s this week’s Strictly Fitness summer themed workout with Mr Neil Jones.

Morning Live is on a break now. Join us on Monday 26th August from 9:30am for more Strictly Fitness.

“You can do all of the routines from this week in full & see how to do them sat down, on BBC iPlayer.”

The breakfast chat show usually starts airing every weekday morning at 9.30 am and lasts for an hour and fifteen minutes.

It is currently being replaced by reality series Rip Off Britain.

The BBC programme delves into situations where UK customers feel they’ve been taken advantage of.

No explanation was given for Morning Live being taken off screens.

The shake-up comes after regular presenters Gethin Jones and Michelle Ackerley were requested to attend an ‘improvement meeting’.

Gethin took to social media to reveal that he was dragged into a special consultation with execs from the show.

In his caption, the former Blue Peter presenter shared: “Michelle and me sitting down with the boss to discuss what we can do better!

“Love it. Always welcome a chance to improve.”
