'You babbling baboon': Nonsensical Trump post spurs Truth Social taunts

A nonsensical new message from Donald Trump spurred sunrise taunts on his own media site.

Trump took to Truth Social about 6:25 a.m. Monday to rail against President Joe Biden, whom he suggested was involved in the start of an imminent world war.

"It’s a new day and Joe Biden doesn’t remember quitting the race yesterday!" Trump wrote. "He is demanding his campaign schedule and arranging talks with Presidents Xi of China, and Putin of Russia, concerning the possible start of World War 3."

Trump then appeared to support his former rival in the upcoming election by declaring "Biden is 'sharp, decisive, energetic, angry, and ready to go!'"

Why the latter portion of his statement was in quotations is unclear as Raw Story was unable to locate any such comment.

Nor is it clear what source of information Trump has for this statement, if any. Sunday night saw Trump claim Biden had lied about having COVID.

Trump's Truth Social post Monday spurred ridicule on the conservative media site, whose parent company bears the former president's name.

"NONE of that is true you babbling baboon," replied @TheTrueHeathen. "Seriously Maga stop falling for this bull----. Trump is psychotic and his close call now has him rattled and paranoid."

"Your fear is showing," wrote Anti maga Republican. "If you truly care about the country step down like him. Give us a chance to run someone with a chance."

"Donald, I encourage you to stick with what you know," suggested @susan67042. "Tell us about your MIT uncle, sharks vs boats and the crowd pleaser, the story about the snake. We love it when you mention your friend Hannibal Lecter. You got this."

"You're a joke," added @NotTheOrangeGuy. "Move on! Stop playing make believe pretend with the American people's lives! You old fat moron!"
