All airport operators to conduct third party audit of structural stability of buildings

Following roof collapse incidents at three airports, the government has instructed airport operators to conduct third party audits for structural stability. An expert committee from IIT Delhi will assess the incident at Delhi airport. Investigations are ongoing for incidents at Jabalpur and Rajkot airports. Expenditure on Repair and Maintenance activities has increased at Airports Authority of India.
