New Delhi [India], July 22 (ANI): The Indian government has increased its budget for the welfare and empowerment of women, marking a 218.8 per cent rise from FY14 to FY25.

The surge underscores India's commitment to transitioning from women's development to women-led development, as highlighted in the Economic Survey 2023-2024.
