New Strictly crisis as Nadiya pulls out of dance event and ‘can’t stand to be in the same room’ as ex Kai
STRICTLY pro Nadiya Bychkova pulled out of a dance event to avoid her ex Kai Widdrington.
The former couple were due to perform at a £1400-a-night hotel on Friday – days after revealing their split.
MailOnline reports Nadiya is refusing to be in the same room as her ex as their break up turns bitter.
The Sun revealed Nadiya split from pro dancer Kai last week after 18 months together.
They had been scheduled to host a Strictly Come Dancing themed event at Donaheys – a five-star Celtic Manor Resort in Newport.
Hotel guests were set to be treated to waltz lessons from the couple for Donaheys’ Dancing With The Stars event.
However, latin dancer Rebecca Scott stepped in for Nadiya at the last minute.
A source told the newspaper: “Nadiya is really angry at Kai.
“She doesn’t want to be in the same room as him.
“They have had a huge fall out and things are bad between them. There is a whole series to get through of dancing on the same show. The Strictly team are bracing themselves for this nightmare now.”
The new crisis comes as the BBC continues its investigations following allegations against pro Giovanni Pernice.
It is claimed he bullied actress Amanda Abbington, his partner on the last series.
