Man found dead in Marin Headlands

A missing San Francisco resident was found dead in Marin County.

Kelley Austin Guest, 76, was last seen on July 14 in the city, San Francisco police reported. He was found Saturday at the base of Battery Rathbone-McIndoe, near Black Sands Beach.

The Marin County sheriff’s Search and Rescue team found him, San Francisco police said.

Marin County Chief Deputy Coroner Roger Fielding said Monday that the circumstances leading to Guest’s death and the cause of his death remain under investigation.
