Centre lifts ban on Govt staff joining RSS activities

The Centre has lifted a ban on public servants from participating in the activities of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) following the Lok Sabha polls. The order, issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, removed the mention of the Sangh from official memorandums. RSS chief spokesperson Sunil Ambekar welcomed the move, stating it strengthens the democratic system of India.
