Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Was ‘In Her Element’ & Glowing With Excitement at the Singapore Zoo
If the Irwins are around, animals are probably not far. Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace Warrior seems to be just as obsessed with the earth’s wild creatures as her grandpa the late Steve Irwin was — and her latest family vacation highlighted this special interest. Grace’s dad Chandler Powell shared new photos of his 3-year-old in Singapore, and she is so “in her element” surrounded by animals at the zoo!
“Grace’s fourth country!! ????” Powell captioned the post. “My parents met us in Singapore and we spent a week exploring this incredible part of the world.” He continued, “Grace was in her element. Very thankful for this time together.”
The post included several photos of Powell and Grace with Powell’s parents, Chris and Shannan Powell, during their vacation in Singapore. They took a selfie on the Skyway at Gardens By The Bay, which is a beautiful sky bridge suspended between two Supertrees. Everyone smiles in another selfie as the family pulls Grace on a wagon during a visit to the Singapore Zoo. But the cutest photos were of Grace embracing her love of animals.
In one, she cuddles up with a statue of a lion, pretending to sleep on its stomach. In another, she glances over the railing at a panda bear, looking totally enthralled. She also admires a hippo swimming in the water (as she holds a little stuffed giraffe in her arms!) and smiles at a monkey sitting on a fence post right next to her. You can tell she is happy as can be surrounded by all this wildlife!
“There’s nothing like family! What beautiful pictures and memories you captured! ❤️” one person commented. Someone else wrote, “I can’t believe how much she’s growing up and so cute! ????”
Last week, Powell shared a video of their Singapore trip, which showed Grace riding on a carousel lizard, playing in an interactive kids’ exhibit, and exploring the skybridge without a care in the world. “A recap of our week in Singapore. Very grateful for this family time together,” Powell captioned the video. Bindi responded, “Grace’s pure JOY with Grandma & Grandpa. ❤️” Aww!
The Animal Planet star dished about her daughter’s love of animals in a May 2024 interview with SheKnows. “She is 100 percent a Wildlife Warrior. I mean, I think it’s genetic at this point,” Bindi said with a laugh. She added, “Her thing is just animals. She likes to become an expert on animals.” Grace is so adorable!
