Spruce Kings Commit to Connors

The Prince George Spruce Kings are excited to announce the signed commitment of Jayden Connors (’07) for the 2024/2025 season.

Connors is a 5’10, 170-pound defenseman from Toronto, Ontario, who spent last season with the St. Michaels Buzzers of the OJHL.  Jayden put up 2 goals and 21 assists in 46 games, and added a goal and two assists in 10 playoff games. Connors is committed to the University of New Hampshire following his time in the BCHL.

Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes: “We’re excited to add Jayden to our program. He’s a young, very skilled and mobile defenseman. We’re looking forward to working with Jayden on his development as he prepares for NCAA Hockey.”

Jayden Connors: “Playing for Prince George is a great opportunity for me. The organization is respected throughout the country and is known for having an amazing fan base. I am looking forward to working hard and becoming the kind of player that can really contribute to the success of the Spruce Kings. Playing in the BCHL means playing in one of the most competitive junior leagues in the world. The BCHL consistently has alumni play in the NHL and I am looking forward to the challenge.”

Welcome to Prince George Jayden!
