Some shows have a meteoric rise right from the jump, and then there are incredibly written and beautifully acted series like The Bear.

The show has become a sleeper hit, surprising audiences with its genius storytelling.

Now, The Bear is a certified hit that almost everyone has seen.

After amassing over a hundred award nominations and securing over forty wins, including three Golden Globes, the series has been shattering awards records.

In its first season, The Bear won ten Emmys, surpassing 30 Rock, the previous record holder.

So, it should come as no surprise that fans of the critically acclaimed show are ready for even more just a couple of months after the previous season’s premiere.

Now, grab your apron because we’re about to start service on everything we know so far about The Bear Season 4!

Has The Bear Been Renewed for Season 4?

That would be a resounding “Yes, chef!”

Not only was The Bear renewed for another season right after the premiere of Season 2, but it was also filmed back-to-back with it.

It’s not all that shocking, considering the massive hit the show has become, with its list of famous and familiar-faced guest stars that only seems to be growing.

What Is The Bear About?

A young, talented chef named Carmen “Carmy” Anthony Berzatto inherits his family’s Italian beef sandwich shop after the suicide of his older brother, Michael.

He comes home to Chicago to run it, leaving behind his world of working in Michelin-starred restaurants.

He is left to deal with his brother’s unresolved debts, a rundown kitchen, and an unruly staff while dealing with his own pain and family trauma.

After the events of The Bear Season 3, there’s a lot still up in the air for the overworked and overstressed staff of the sandwich shop turned fine-dining eatery on this fantastic FX series.

Sydney has a big decision to make, possibly the biggest of her life, because staying at The Bear or taking the chef de cuisine at another restaurant will define her future.

Then there’s the Chicago Tribune review, a pivotal plot point that will likely direct the main story in the upcoming season.

As always, Carmy’s mental health and personal growth seem to be an endless well of internal struggle that just about any audience member can relate to.

How Many Episodes Will The Bear Season 4 Have?

Though parts of Season 4 have already been filmed, the series is still in production, so there has yet to be an official episode count.

However, considering how much Hulu puts into the hit series, it would be a surprise to see the next season get any number less than ten.

If anything, it’s more likely that the season will have more, or possibly even a holiday episode or two.

Who Is In The Bear Season 4?

Like many ensemble shows with a lead, fans of the series have formed a familial-like bond with the characters, and it just wouldn’t be The Bear without the same kitchen staff.

Josh Hartnett (Penny Dreadful) as Frank

Gillian Jacobs (Community) as Tiffany

Joel McHale (Stargirl) as David Fields

Jamie Lee Curtis (Scream Queens) as Donna Berzatto

There’s no official trailer just yet.

As mentioned above, The Bear is still filming the rest of its episodes, but considering the head start they have, audiences won’t have to wait very long.

Fans of the series won’t have to go far because we at TV Fanatic are going to serve up the trailer with meticulous plating!

Where Can I Watch The Bear Season 4?

Fans of The Bear can catch Season 4 on Hulu, where the streamer will likely drop all episodes simultaneously unless otherwise informed.

Audiences can catch up with the kitchen staff with all three seasons streaming on the app.

When Is The Premiere Date For The Bear Season 4?

Now, there is some good and bad news because even though some of Season 4 has already been filmed, there is little chance it’ll arrive early.

However, fans of the series can keep their hopes high that The Bear will probably return in June.

Either way, FX executive John Landgraf is confident the series will return in 2025, as he told Variety.

“We couldn’t bring it back sooner because of all of the film projects the actors are on right now. We started a show with a team of great actors.

“Now we have a show with a team of movie stars. They do have to go back for a chunk of production. And we actually haven’t seen all the scripts yet.

“We’ve seen most of them, but not all of them.

“I would say one of the things I just really like about The Bear, which is something I used to like about television, is the sense that things came back every year,” Landgraf continued.

“When you loved something, when you had an experience with it, it was a part of the year that you looked forward to.

“Now, not only do you often only get a very short period of time with a show, because it’s not a network show with 22 episodes that airs over 30 weeks, but very few shows come back annually.

“So, I’m actually incredibly proud and grateful to the team at The Bear that have dedicated themselves — despite all the other hoopla they’ve been dealing with — to bring this thing back annually.

“I can’t say for sure, but my guess is it’ll come back the same time next year.”

What Other Shows Are Premiering?

Though viewers will have to wait roughly a year before the next installment in this massive hit series, Hulu has plenty of original shows to keep them busy while they wait for The Bear.

Head on over to the East Coast, where Selena Gomez, Steve Marin, and Martin Short entertain the hell out of viewers with Only Murders in the Building back for its fourth season this August.

When you’re ready for something chilling, the children’s series that keeps coming back, like Slappy the Dummy, is returning with a new cast and story for the second season of Goosebumps.

For a dose of love, lies, and drama, tune into the Hulu original series Tell Me Lies, based on Carola Lovering’s 2018 novel about the unfolding of a relationship over eight years.

That’s not the only novel adaptation returning as the critically acclaimed hit series Shogun, based on James Clavell’s 1975 novel, is already in production for a second and third season.

Hulu has so many certified amazing shows on its roster that there’s plenty to keep audiences entertained while Carmy and crew return to television screens.
