LOVE Island bombshell Tiffany Leighton has admitted she had her “teeth changed” after vicious trolling during the show.
The ITV2 star – who swiftly became involved in Ronnie Vint’s love triangle with Harriett Blackmore, 24 – candidly told The Sun: “You go on the show and expect to get trolled, but to read it is hard.”
Tiffany, 25, opened up on her longstanding niggles surrounding her teeth and told us she was so “self conscious” she had had both Invisalign and composite bonding procedures in the past.
Yet the Hertfordshire lass – who cuts a strikingly different figure to her childhood snaps – told how she rushed straight to the clinic after she was booted out of Love Island.
After reading the comments on her appearance and “robot” like conduct, the HR coordinator told us: “Yeah to be fair the comments did get to me a bit because I actually did go and get my teeth changed.
“I did look back on the clips and everyone’s going ‘too big – her teeth are too big for her mouth.’
“So, like, I’ve got them made a little bit more natural.
“They shaped them a bit more natural. But, yeah, everyone was like, Tiff, you didn’t need to do that.
“But when you just read it so much it does get to you.
“Yeah, literally, as soon as I saw them, I was like, ‘I need to go to the dentist. Oh my God.'”
Tiffany told how she encountered the vile abuse on Instagram and TikTok, as she does not have accounts on X or Facebook.
Taking aim at keyboard bullies as a whole she said: “I just think everyone preaches this whole be kind, and then they’re not kind.
“They will just hide behind fake accounts. And obviously when you’re doing something to improve yourself, and then you’re getting abused, you literally can’t win.
“It’s like when I was younger, I used to get bullied for my weight and things, and then I lost weight.”
Tiffany lost three stone after dedicating herself to a gruelling health and fitness routine.

At the time, she told how it took a year to achieve her desired results yet she has worked hard to keep the weight off.
Speaking of her overall welbeing, she told us: “You just need things to improve your self-confidence – and then you still get trolled.
“So I just think it’s really hard. It’s hard.
“Obviously you go on a show and you expect to get trolled, but then to actually read it is quite hard and stuff.
“But you’ve just got to be thick skinned, because these people, they just start trying to pick on anything, don’t they?
Tiffany left the Love Island villa without finding a lasting romance.
She was accused of “using” Ronnie during her time on the show to get into the main villa.
Tiffany – who has dated a former Love Islander in the past – stole footballer Ronnie away from Harriett, after she had only been coupled up with him for a day.
Yet fans were already thinking Tiffany had a game plan even before her time with the sports ace.
Thought the star proved them wrong, dumping Ronnie to stay true to her own feelings that something wasn’t right.
Sadly this meant the end of her Love Island journey as she was dumped from the villa swiftly after.
