Budget 2024: Schemes worth Rs 2 lakh crore for job creation, skilling and internship; move to benefit 41 million youth

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveiled a comprehensive package in Budget 2024-25 aimed at enhancing employment and skill development for India's youth. Valued at Rs 2 lakh crore under the Prime Minister's scheme, the initiative seeks to incentivize job creation, skill two million youth, provide education loans up to Rs 10 lakh for higher education, and offer internship opportunities to 10 million youth over the next five years.
