Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is close to agreeing personal terms on a contract with French giants Marseille this summer.
Marseille have already confirmed the arrivals of Mason Greenwood and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Premier League clubs this summer.
Roberto De Zerbi wants to add more attacking threats to his squad and is keen to find more solutions from the English top flight.
Marseille have offered to sign Nketiah on loan from Arsenal with an option to buy and are pushing to take him to the south of France.
According to French sports daily L’Equipe, the forward is close to giving his consent to a contract offer from Marseille.
Personal terms are almost in place with the two sides only discussing a few final details.
With Nketiah keen on the move, Marseille will now push to get a deal over the line with Arsenal.
The Gunners are open to selling the forward but would prefer to have the fee upfront over an initial loan exit.
