Love Island fans slam Grace’s dad over ‘confrontation’ with Joey amid ‘bullying’ row
LOVE Island fans have hit out at Grace Jackson’s dad after he ‘confronted’ Joey Essex on last night’s show.
During Monday night’s episode of Love Island the Islanders were treated to visits from their loved ones.
Grace, who was coupled up with with Joey before he dumped her for Jessy Potts, was greeted by her parents.
She and Joey have clashed multiple times since their romance ended, with fans hitting out at the former Towie star for ‘bullying’ her.
So when her dad called Joey over, fans were convinced he was going to put him in his place.
Instead the meeting was pleasant, with the two men shaking hands.
Writing on social media afterwards, one viewer said: “Am I the only one who was hoping for Graces dad to call Joey out on his constant disrespect towards Grace?”
Another said: “Bad decision made by graces dad tbh.”
And a third added: “I was hoping Joey would have been put in his place.”
Joey also met Jessy’s mum last night and viewers were left convinced she’s not a fan.
Sitting on a day bed with her parents, Jessy excitedly asked: “What do you think?!”
Gritting her teeth, Julie replied: “Yeah, lovely. Really sweet.”
One viewer wrote: “Jessy’s mum HATES Joey!”
Another added: “Jessy’s mum is not a fan of Joey. She don’t like him!”
A third agreed: “Jessy’s mum DOES NOT LIKE Joey.”
