Bairabi-Sairang rail line to connect Aizawl with rest of India nearly complete: NFR

Aizawl’s 51.38 km Bairabi-Sairang railway is 93% complete, involving 12,853 meters of tunnels and numerous bridges, including the 104 meter tall Pier P-4, says NFR CPRO Sabyasachi De. Stations include Hortoki, Kawnpui, Mualkhang, and Sairang. Despite challenging terrain and monsoons, progress is significant. Northeast Frontier Railway aims for early completion to boost state development.
