'Keep lying': Late night Trump rant about Harris quickly turns against him
Vice President Kamala Harris appears to be keeping former President Donald Trump up at night.
The convicted felon and presumptive Republican nominee blasted of a barrage of Truth Social posts after midnight Tuesday to attack President Joe Biden, Harris and the media outlet he claimed was propping up the transition from one Democratic Party candidate to the other.
"ABC Fake News is such a joke, among the absolute WORST in the business," Trump declared about 12:10 a.m. ET. "They then tried to make 'Sleepy' look like a great President - he was the WORST, and Lyin’ Kamala into a competent person, which she is not."
"Lyin'" appears to be the modifying moniker Trump, found guilty of falsifying business records to conceal hush money paid to an adult film star ahead of the 2016 presidential election, prefers when discussing Harris, a former attorney general.

It appeared again in a 12:30 a.m. post in which Trump mocked Harris' polling numbers, which he did not cite or explain.
"NBC News Poll: Lyin’ Kamala Harris is the most unpopular Vice President in history," Trump wrote. "WOW, that is not a great sound bite!"
Harris' popularity as a presidential candidate was polled by NBC in a report released on July 14 that found 50 percent of registered voters believed the vice president was unpopular. In the same poll, Trump came in at 53 percent unpopular.
A more recent poll released Sunday shows Harris and Trump to be neck-and-neck.
That may be why Trump continued to rail against Biden's decision to step aside from his presidential reelection campaign and hand the baton to Harris.
"ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, is not worthy of holding a Debate, of which I hope there will be many!" Trump wrote. "They try to make Crooked Joe into a brave warrior because he didn’t have the 'guts' to fight it out — He quit!"
Despite the late hour, Trump quickly saw his new nickname for Harris turned against him on his own social media site.
"Keep lying in order for your fragile ego to feel better," replied Truth Social user Grifting Sarah with an image of Harris as Rosie the Riveter. "This is what A REAL PRESIDENT looks like."
"Another made up Trump fact," wrote overthepond. "Funny how she is raising so much money for her PARTY ie not for herself like you do. It is obvious that you are really jealous."
"You know what's not a great sound bite? You getting convicted of 34 felonies," added Truth Social user Make America GAY Again. "Also, you praising dictators, Hannibal Lecter, and electric boat sharks."
