Stores closed and no staff in sight after business collapse

The sudden closure of several Carpetright stores has been put in focus across the region.

The stores on Mitre Retail Park in Wolverhampton and within Furniture Village on Gallagher Retail Park in Wednesbury were both closed, with few if any staff present onsite the day after the chain was forced to close stores and make redundancies.
