The One Show’s Alex Jones admits she is ‘living in chaos’ as she shares major update after taking break from show

THE One Show star Alex Jones has admitted she is living in chaos after having a few weeks away from the show.

Alex, 47, and her family have recently left West London behind to move into a brand new home on the outskirts of the city.

However, the star has revealed that she is “living in chaos” amid the huge move – a decision she reveals she made in order for her young children to be closer to “nature”.

The star shared a snap of her planting a huge smooch on husband Charlie Thomson‘s lips as they clutched onto what appeared to be a glass of fizz as they toasted the house move.

Alex’s new home could be spotted away in the background but the star has yet to show off the new house in all of it’s glory.

The TV presenter spoke at length as she opened up on making the big decision to uphaul her family and the “chaos” that came with it.

Alex wrote on Instagram: “We made it and are completely delighted with the new house.

“Thank you so much for all your messages of support over the last few weeks.

“We are obviously living in complete chaos but it already feels like home.

“It was a big decision to leave West London where we have been very happy for 14 years but we wanted the children to have space to play outside and to grow up in nature.”

The Welsh host went on to admit that the house search had not been an easy process.

Alex confessed that she and her hubby took four years to fine their perfect home after having their hearts set on a move to a quieter part of the country.

She continued: “It took nearly 4 years of searching to find the ‘one’. Somewhere where the children could appreciate nature but yet close enough to London for me to get to work and we have.

“It feels like she was waiting for us to find her. We feel very lucky.”

Alex’s house move comes after she took a break from hosting duties on the daily magazine show on BBC One.

She has been a mainstay of The One Show for years and currently can be seen alongside Jermaine Jenas and Roman Kemp on the red sofa.

The star was absent for some episodes earlier this month as a result of both her house move as well as a slew of schedule shake-ups owing to coverage of both the Euro 2024 tournament and Wimbledon.
