Love Island fans ‘work out’ cut scenes between Joey and Jessy after ‘clue’ in chat with Ciaran

LOVE Island fans are convinced scenes between Joey Essex and Jessy Potts have been cut – to give the TOWIE hunk a “good edit.”

Their comments came after viewers were suspicious the duo were only staying together to make it to the final.

Now eagle-eyed Love Island fan think Ciaran’s recent spat with Joey – which was aired as part of the Grafties at the weekend – is a sign of some tweaks in the cut.

The duo locked horns in an explosive shouting match where the Welshman tells him” shut the f*** up.”

Just days before, he called Joey out for speaking over the rest of the Love Island cast.

After Ciaran said he has to “stick up for” Jessy in the villa as Joey constantly embarrasses her – fans think the situation is worse than it looks on screen

One took to Reddit to muse: “I think the producers have somehow given Joey a really good edit.

“I just feel like with everyone, especially Ciaran this episode, saying how poorly he treats Jessy and Ciaran saying he’s had to repeatedly speak up on her behalf, I feel like his behaviour is A LOT worse than what we’ve been shown.”

Another put: “I was really surprised when Ciaran said he had defended Jessy against Joey several times.

“It’s no wonder most of the villa have gotten tired of him and I hate that the producers are hiding that from us since it happened more than once.”

Meanwhile, they gave the Welshman a virtual pat on the pack when he checked in on her during Monday’s episode after she had failed to speak to Joey in bed.

Previously, their row led some Love Island viewers to believe they are only keeping their relationship alive for the cameras.

Taking to social media over the weekend, one person speculated: “Joey does not like Jessy; he just thinks it’s part of his islander story to be with her and sees her as a way to the final.”

Another agreed and added: “If Joey doesn’t switch I think it’s just strategic to get to the final at this point cos two weeks ago him and Jessy would’ve already been over in this scenario.”

Meanwhile, they may face another stumbling block after the Meet The Parents episode.

Viewers were left screaming at Jessy’s mum’s comments towards him – and think they showed the blonde bombshell’s parents don’t like the reality TV star at all.

As he wandered around the villa while his ex, Grace Jackson, was reunited with her parents, the model’s dad called him over for a chat in yet more awkward scenes.

Yet some fans thought the model’s parent was to blame – and slammed his “confrontational” approach.
