These offers are available on the website but might vary from store to store, and some items might sell out or not be available, so it’s always worth checking with your local branch.

Currently, the cheapest item on Dunelm’s website is a ‘Stay Wild’ plant marker which costs just 87p, down from its original price of £3.50.

The item, now being sold with a massive 75% discount, is part of the clearance section which includes many other garden bargains too.

We’ve also spotted a wooden bird house, originally priced at £15, now on sale for only £3.75.

If you’re looking for an easy-to-use barbecue that you can carry with you over the summer holidays, Dunelm is selling one for half-price.

A bucket BBQ, which is described as “perfect for the beach, a picnic or camping”, now costs £7.50 – down from £15.

The clearance section also includes a multi-coloured picnic blanket for £9, down from £18.

And if you’re in the market for a parasol to add some shade to your garden, Dunelm has one on sale for £10 – a 50% discount from the original price of £20.

If you’re keen to get one of the discounted items, it could be worth calling your local Dunelm branch to see if they have what you’re looking for in stock.

If you don’t want to go to a physical store and decide to shop online, keep in mind you might need to pay extra for delivery.

If you place an order for less than £49, delivery will cost you an extra £3.95.

The retailer also offers free same-day click-and-collect.

How to bag a bargain

SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain…

Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.

Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.

Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.

When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.

Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.

You should always remember to shop around before buying anything on sale as you might find the item cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Price Spy let you compare prices on thousands of products to find out where it will cost you the least.

You can also have a quick scan on the Google Shopping/Product tab to see how much retailers are selling a particular item for.

Just days ago, a deal-seeker found amazing offers available at Dunelm’s branch in Erdington, West Midlands.

They included a 4ft long “floating shelf” for 50% off, reduced to £10.

They also lauded rolls of “cute” nursery wallpaper bearing illustrations of squirrels and various plants.

Each roll was available for just £2.50 when a similar paper was £26 online, according to the comments.

Finally, a stylish, wicker bathroom towel rail and shelf was on sale for a staggering 90% off – down from £20 to just £2.

All in all, the entire haul of the two shelves and two rolls of wallpaper would come to just £17.
