What Did Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Name Their New Baby?
Reynolds name-dropped his fourth kid during the premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine.
Ryan Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, have been hard at work drumming up enthusiasm for Deadpool & Wolverine, the third movie in which Reynolds plays a guy with a crisped-up face. Lively recently posted an inside-joke-riddled Instagram diatribe about how “seen” she felt by the Deadpool franchise’s pop-culture references, while Reynolds thought it would be a good idea to refer to the film’s raunchy rating as a “hard R.” On Monday night, they went a little more mellow: Reynolds revealed the name of the couple’s fourth child, Olin, during the movie’s Lincoln Center premiere.
Reynolds casually uttered Olin’s name before the movie started when he appeared onstage to thank the film’s collaborators and Lively. “I want to thank my kids, James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here,” he said, adding, “I love that my entire family is here.”
This isn’t the first time the couple has tied familial news to a movie rollout — Lively confirmed she was expecting a third child in 2019 by wearing a fitted yellow dress to the Pokémon Detective Pikachu premiere and posting an Instagram with the caption “PokeMOM…Out now.” It’s also probably not the last — also on Monday, Reynolds told E! News he wants “as many little heartbeats as possible, just running around, wrecking stuff in the house.” Sounds like Taylor Swift will never run out of whimsical names for her characters stuck in love triangles.
