Aldi’s sell-out dupe range for £28 Olaplex buys is returning to the middle aisle – and there’s brand new additions too

BY now, you hopefully know that Aldi’s beauty offering is a treasure trove.

From copycat Dior lip oils to a full imitation range of Charlotte Tilbury’s cult products, there’s enough make-up products to curate a full make-up bag.

And there’s brand new additions to the Lacura haircare range[/caption]

But perhaps the most difficult to nail down is the budget supermarket’s Olaplex dupes.

Luckily, you needn’t yearn any longer.

The Lacura hair range is back in middle aisles this Thursday (July 25)… but you’ll probably need to be quick.

For blondes, there’s a new £3.99 Lacura Bonded Purple Shampoo – which is a dupe for Olaxplex’s £28 NO.4P Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo.

“The Lacura Bonded Purple Shampoo is formulated with violet pigments to counteract yellow and orange hues, whilst neutralising brassiness for bolder and brighter locks,” Aldi’s formulators explained,

“Made with ingredients designed to moisturise and soften the hair, this multitasking shampoo will also intensely hydrate hair from root to tip for a healthy and shiny finish.”

For damaged and dyed hairs, there’s the £3.99 Lacura Bonded Pre-Wash, which is a dupe for Olaplex’s £28 NO.3 Hair Perfector.

“Look after your luscious locks with the Lacura Bonded Pre-Wash Hair Treatment,” Aldi’s team added.

“Designed for all hair types, this strengthening pre-wash helps to repair, rejuvenate and hydrate damaged hair.”

If you’re in need of a new hair mask, you can pick up the Lacura Bonded Moisture Mask for £4.99.

This dupe for the £28 Olaplex NO.8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask is said to be an intense reparative mask designed to strengthen and smooth damaged hair.

It’s not just Olaplex dupes in the latest Lacura haircare range, though.

You can also nab a dupe for the celeb-loved Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo.

This luxury buy can cost up to £34 for a jumbo size – but the Lacura Perfect Proof Dry Shampoo is just £3.49.

Best beauty dupes

Fabulous' Beauty Editor, Tara Ledden revealed the cheaper version of your favourite beauty products that you should have in your cupboard.

“A huge 55% of us would like to spend less on our beauty routines according to new research from E.l.f. Cosmetics, so it’s no wonder there’s millions of #dupe videos on Tiktok.

“While some dupes are easy to spot given their look-a-like packing, they’re often lacking when it comes to the contents.

“In fact, some of the best dupes look nothing like the luxury product they’re a dead-ringer for – and, trust me, they’re the ones you want.”

REAL: Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer, £32.50 DUPE: Natural Collection Bronzer, £3.50 which is a saving of £29. The Natural Collection Bronzer comes in more shades, although it doesn’t have a mirror in the compact.

REAL: Milk Make-up Hydro-Grip Primer, £35 DUPE: E.l.f. Power Grip Primer, £10. These two share a similar green hue, as well as the same long-wearing, mattifying properties – although, E.l.f’s is so popular it’s just as hard to get hold of.

REAL: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick, £28 DUPE: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige A Nu, £8.99. The shades of these two lipsticks are virtually identical on the lips, although while Charlotte Tilbury’s is matte, the L’Oreal Paris Lipstick has a satin finish – which actually makes it more comfortable if you’re wearing all day.

REAL: Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, £40 DUPE: Collection Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation, £6.99. While they don’t look alike from the outside, the formula, consistency and staying power of both foundations is pretty similar – unfortunately, the Collection only comes in 20 shades vs Estee Lauder’s 60 options.

REAL: Glossier Boy Brow, £20 DUPE: Essence Make Me Brow Gel, £2.50. There’s a whole Reddit thread dedicated to this dupe, so you know it’s got to be good. They both have a waxy consistency and added fibres to make brows look fuller. I have to say, the shade range is far better with Boy Brow, but if you’re brunette, there’s plenty of Essence shade options to try.

“Need to freshen up those greasy roots?” Aldi bosses asked.

“This Lacura Perfect Proof Dry Shampoo is a light formulation that banishes oily roots, while adding body and texture to revitalise between washes.

“Fast absorbing and residue free, this everyday essential mimics the effects of freshly washed hair in just a few sprays.”

The supermarket’s social media team took to Instagram to alert beauty buffs to the new haircare buys.

“This is perfect timing,” one shopper beamed in the comments.

“I’ve just run out of my Living Proof Dry Shampoo.”

“I adore this brand, can’t wait to try the hair products,” another gushed.
