My $2 nail polish outperforms Essie and OPI – it dries quicker and doesn’t need a top coat, I don’t use anything else
A BUDGET nail fan has shared their go-to affordable brand for colorful manis.
They said they preferred the beauty brand to more expensive ones like Essie and OPI and felt it outperformed them.
Redditor Phishmademedoit shared the money-saving nail recommendation in a post.
They revealed that $2 L.A. Colors polish is the star of their lineup and converted them from more expensive brands.
“I love their nail polish. I used to have a huge collection of Essie,” they said.
“I now use nothing but L.A. Colors. It’s great.”
The formulation, they felt, is superior to more expensive versions and saves them time and energy.
“L.A. Colors dries quicker and doesn’t need a top coat,” they said.
They added that they didn’t get the hype behind Essie and OPI.
“It saves so much time. Essie and OPI do not work at all without a top coat,” they said.
Others seconded the recommendation and said it was what they reached for most.
