Robust demand drives India's business growth to a three-month high in July, PMI shows

India's business activity surged at its fastest pace in three months in July, driven by strong demand particularly in the services sector. This growth has resulted in companies hiring at the quickest pace in over 18 years, based on a recent survey. HSBC's flash India composite purchasing managers' index, compiled by S&P Global, rose to 61.4 in July from June's final reading of 60.9. The index has now marked three consecutive years of expansion.
