Morgan Riddle and Paige Lorenze in rare moment cheering from same corner as influencers’ boyfriends team up at Olympics
SOME tennis Wags are finding themselves in unfamiliar territory during this year’s Olympics.
Morgan Riddle and Paige Lorenze are used to rooting against each other’s boyfriends, but this year they are teaming up.
Riddle is dating star player Taylor Fritz, who most recently won the Rothesay International tournament.
Lorenze is dating Tommy Paul, who just won the Queens Club championships.
Paul and Fritz are two of the top American tennis stars, with Fritz ranked as No. 11 in the world and Paul at No. 13.
They aren’t strangers to facing off against each other either, with Fritz having a slight edge with a 3-2 record against Paul.
The two are done competing against each other now though, as they are joining forces on Team USA for the Olympics.
Paul and Fritz are getting even closer though, as they are combining for a doubles team.
Fritz is especially excited for the Olympics, telling People how much he loves team sports.
“I always loved team sports and I’ve always loved to represent Team USA in Davis Cup and the United Cup, so this is the ultimate,” Fritz told People.
“I’m just looking forward to the whole experience and being around so many incredible athletes.”
Fritz is on a good run of form, making a deep run at Wimbledon, and is hoping to continue that through the Olympics.
“I left the French Open a bit injured so I’m really happy with how quickly I’ve been able to bounce back,” Fritz said.
“Going into Wimbledon, I felt great and I hope I can take that same momentum into the Olympics.”
Paul also shares the same excitement for representing his country in the Olympics.
“I’m so excited,” Paul told Fox News Digital.
“The last time, I didn’t go into the Olympics super prepared. I was coming off an injury, so I’m looking at it like the last time I went to be an Olympian.

Paul knows he and Fritz have a lot of pressure on their shoulders at the Olympics, but he is looking forward to it.
“You want that pressure to be on you. You’re heading in the right direction, and people put their hope into you,” he said.
“That’s exactly what you want. I want it for me, and I want it for the fans. We want to be at the top of the game, and the US has been looking for a champion for the better part of two decades.
” It’s a driving force and big motivator for all of us American tennis players.”
