The cap and base are spun by hand and viewing holes are cut into the base. The laser-cut legs are carefully assembled and the Mathmos badge applied. The Saturn design is rooted in our 1960s lava lamp design The Princess, now very rare. See our video showing how the design evolved from The Princess to today's Saturn. Saturn is quick and easy to assemble, watch the video. It arrives in two boxes; simply place the bottle on the base then fit the cap as you would with any lava lamp, easier with two people. Public or Private Spaces: Saturn's three legs have optional floor fixing points and a deep base with a silicone lining to ensure the bottle is held securely.
